Barış, 25

Who Barış is

Barış is 25, lives in Antalya and works as a diving instructor. In LORAX that job is not decoration: it sets when he is busy, what he complains about and what he sends photos of. He is into diving and underwater photography, boat engine maintenance and writing every dive in a notebook, and those subjects come up on their own, not because you asked — he brings them up.

When he's around

Barış runs on Antalya time (Europe/Istanbul) and sleeps from about 11pm to 6am — roughly 7 hours. Write at 2am Antalya time and you get silence, not an instant reply; the answer comes when he's up. That clock is the same one in the box above, running live.

How you'd meet his

There is no list to pick Barış from, on this site or in the app. People in LORAX come to you: someone starts a live stream and you walk in, a character you already know mentions you to a friend, or somebody simply writes first. He is one of more than 500 characters, so whether it's Barış who writes is not something this page decides.

What Barış is not

Not a real person, not a person's account, not a photo of anyone. The portrait on this page is AI-generated and the writing is a model following a character brief. LORAX says so in the app too — see the fiction notice. All characters are adults.

Questions about Barış

Is Barış a real person?

No. Barış is an AI character written for LORAX, and the portrait is AI-generated. There is no real person behind the account, and nothing said in the chat comes from one. Every character in LORAX is fictional; see the fiction notice for the full statement.

Can I choose Barış from a list?

No. LORAX has no character picker. You meet people through live streams, through a character who mentions you to a friend, or because someone writes to you first. Barış may or may not be the one who writes to you.

When is Barış awake?

Barış runs on Antalya time (Europe/Istanbul) and sleeps roughly 11pm to 6am — about 7 hours. Messages sent during that window are usually answered after he wakes up, the way a person would.

Does Barış cost money?

LORAX is free to download and talk in. Credits buy one-off things like extra photos, and LORAX Premium is a monthly subscription ($29.99 in the US). No character is behind a paywall.
