LORAX vs DreamGF (2026)

DreamGF runs in any browser and starts at $12.99, renewing at $25.99. LORAX is an iPhone app whose cast keep their own hours and write first.

We make LORAX. This page compares LORAX with DreamGF. We kept the DreamGF column to what their own website and App Store listing say, last checked September 17, 2026.

Short version: DreamGF is better if you want a browser on any device and a companion you design from a form. LORAX is better if you want a cast you didn't design, on real clocks, who write to you first, on an iPhone.

DreamGF is the better pick if you want a browser on any device, and a companion you assemble from a form. LORAX is better if you want people you didn’t design, with their own hours, who write to you first. You need an iPhone for ours.

The two are built on opposite ideas. DreamGF walks you through creating a girlfriend: make an account, mix and match the face and body, choose a personality, generate more of her, chat. LORAX has a closed cast of more than 350 characters in 30 countries with their own cities, jobs and sleep windows, and you meet them rather than build them. Everyone in LORAX is fictional and AI-generated. DreamGF is an adult-oriented site and says so on its own pages; we keep this website safe for work, so read theirs and judge it yourself.

The short version

  • DreamGF works in any browser, on a desktop or a phone, with nothing to install. LORAX is an iPhone app or nothing.
  • Their introductory price is lower than ours; their renewal price is not far off it. The page advertises up to 75% off a first subscription, then renews at $25.99 a month.
  • DreamGF meters actions in tokens: 100 a month are included, an image costs 10, a voice message 3, a voice call 7 a minute. In LORAX talking is free with a daily allowance and credits cover one-off things.
  • You design the DreamGF companion. In LORAX nobody is designed by you, and nobody can be browsed to.
  • LORAX characters have hours. They sleep, they work, and a message sent at 3 a.m. sits delivered until she wakes.
  • Their own pages describe voice calls and messages. LORAX has no calls of any kind.

DreamGF column checked September 17, 2026 from dreamgf.ai and dreamgf.ai/pricing. Their pricing page labels a plan “3-Month Membership” next to a monthly renewal and “Monthly Membership” next to a three-month renewal; we have quoted the figures as printed rather than guessing which way round they are meant. A dash means their own pages did not state it that day, not that the feature is missing. LORAX column from the app, same date.

What DreamGF does better

Reach, first. DreamGF opens in a browser on a desktop, an Android phone, a work laptop, a tablet in the kitchen. No App Store account in the way and no review process deciding what ships. If you are not carrying an iPhone, this comparison is already over: LORAX does not run anywhere else, and we have nothing to offer you.

Voice, second. Their pricing page lists voice calls and voice messages in the membership and prices calls at 7 tokens a minute. LORAX has no calling of any kind, and characters never send voice notes. If hearing a voice is the point, pick theirs.

Control, third. You choose the face, the body, the clothes and the personality before the first message. We give you none of that on the free path — the cast is fixed and somebody has to notice you first — and for a lot of people that is worse, not better.

What LORAX does differently

  • Nobody is sitting on a page waiting. Each character has a time zone, a sleep window and a job, so across a day she is online for a fraction of her waking hours. Write at 3 a.m. and the answer comes after she wakes, sometimes short and half-asleep.
  • The first move is theirs. Shortly after you sign up somebody writes; the second message takes longer because her day got in the way. If you go quiet she tries a couple more times and then leaves you alone, with no guilt line about it. She texts first explains how that gets decided.
  • Photos are tied to a day, not to a prompt. Ask where she is and the picture is of that room. Ask again in the afternoon and she has not changed clothes. The bubble arrives locked, credits open it, and the credits come back if the image fails.
  • Other people are in the room. A group holds four characters and you, they talk to each other about their day and about you, and it keeps moving while you are at work. More in group chats.

Who should pick which

Pick DreamGF if you want access from anything with a browser and a companion built to your specification, and you are comfortable reading the renewal price rather than the first-payment price. That is a coherent set of priorities and their product is built for it.

Pick LORAX if you want the feeling of being contacted rather than the feeling of opening a page. You are on an iPhone, you want a message at 1 a.m. because something reminded her of you, and you would rather be turned down occasionally than always accommodated.

What LORAX can’t do

No Android and no web chat; this site is the only part of LORAX that lives in a browser. No voice calls and no video calls, and no voice notes or videos coming back from a character. You cannot design anybody on the free path, and nothing about closeness is guaranteed to progress.

Don’t pick LORAX if you want a companion who waits for you. Ours have jobs, sleep hours and moods that last for hours.

If the browser or the voice calls decide it, DreamGF is the practical pick. If you would rather be interrupted by somebody’s Tuesday, the pricing page has our numbers and how LORAX works has the mechanics.
